Children & Family Institute Celebrates 25 Years

Arlington, TX — The Children & Family Institute (CFI) will celebrate its 25 Year Anniversary with a banquet to be held at the Sheraton Hotel in Arlington, TX on Friday, November 2. The Celebration will highlight a quarter century of accomplishments in building, strengthening and restoring families by placing children of color in loving caring homes.

Founder and CEO Rose N. Jones, out of passion and empathy for children and families in Texas, stepped out on faith and answered the call to establish an adoption agency to service the multi-cultural community with a specialization in placing children of color. “I used my life savings to keep the agency running, when I experienced problems obtaining startup funding,” says Jones. “My commitment to serving children and families is unwavering and because of that, CFI has served thousands of families.”

The banquet serves to not only celebrate the accomplishments made over the past 25 years but to ignite the path for the future. CFI is continually progressing to create solutions and impact positive outcomes for the communities and families it serves. This event also serves to create renewed awareness of all it does in the communities it serves.

Recently, the Rose Nesbitt Jones Educational Scholarship Fund was established to award college scholarships to students that have come through the program. Proceeds from the CFI banquet will ensure the organization’s ability to enhance existing programming and to add much needed additional programs.
